Welcome to the newest collection of works in handmade precious metal beads and gemstone necklaces! The turquoise beaded necklaces are named after a good friend that rekindled my adoration for beads and was an avid turquoise lover, hence this body of work is called, The Barbara Oliver Collection. This particular piece is a 23 inch long necklace showcasing a wide untreated turquoise color display of greens, blues, and matrix browns. Graduated sizes run from small along the neckline and gradually increase in size as they reach the center. Placed centered and outward, are 9 graduating handcrafted fused sterling silver beads with reticulated and satin brush texturing. Sterling silver end caps and links finish the necklace in an thoughtful design with an “S” clasp set with a padparadscha sapphire in 22k gold. Double strung on silk cord.
